Sergi Roberto Trains Normally Ahead Of Bilbao Clash

Barcelona wing-back Sergi Roberto, out for 2 months because of a rupture of the rectus femoris muscle of the left thigh, is about to reappear and could do so against Athletic Bilbao at the Camp Nou on Sunday.

Sergi Roberto got injured on 21st November at the Wanda Metropolitano after noting a strong pain when he took a shot.

Since then, he has missed 17 matches and his spot was occupied, first by the American Sergiño Dest, and after his injury by youngster Óscar Mingueza.

Sergi Roberto has now been training with the group for several days. On Friday he played in an informal training match and on Saturday he trained normally with the rest of the team, so Koeman could include him in the squad.

At the training, where Dest didn’t take part, B team players Konrad de la Fuente, Ilaix Moriba and Arnau Tenas participated.
