Liverpool have got one of the best attacks in the world. If one or even two of their main strikers are not there, the other one appears.
That is what Mohamed Salah did. Liverpool were without Mane and Firmino for the game with West Ham and they were struggling to breach the Hammers defence. Then Salah scored twice to make it 0-2.
First, the Liverpool striker scored on the counter for Liverpool after receiving on the right, outside the box, before setting it up on his left foot and firing it in across the keeper.
That was not the Egyptian’s only contribution. Minutes later, he doubled Liverpool’s advantage.
With those two goals, Salah put himself further clear at the top of the table in the race for the Golden Boot. He is now on 15 goals, three ahead of Son and Kane.
