Messi Scored A Superb Free-Kick For Barcelona

Leo Messi put several controversies with regards to his Barcelona contract to bed with a sensational free-kick against Athletic Bilbao. The Argentine beat Unai Simon with a lovely free-kick.

It has been a hectic 24 hours for Leo Messi at Barcelona. He was involved in a controversy in the morning and he scored a stunner in the evening. The Argentine opened the scoring in the league match against Athletic with a spectacular free-kick. It was revenge for what happened in the Spanish Super Cup final,

The Argentine put the ball into the top corner. Not even Yeray, who had run back from the wall to try and head away, could reach it. Muniain had laid down under the wall so Messi hit it over it.

Unai Simon was also left with no chance as the free-kick went in right by his left hand post. The goalkeeper could only watch it go into the net. The goal comes just hours after Messi’s multi-million euro contract was leaked to the Spanish press.
