Former Manchester United player Gary Neville praised Bruno Fernandes on Sky Sports. He said he is the best player in the team with and without the ball. He highlighted his ability to both set up attacks and put pressure on the opposition.
Gary Neville is delighted as a spectator, as a fan and as a former Manchester United player with Bruno Fernandes. The Portuguese is undoubtedly one of the best signings of 2020. The former manager spoke about him in one of his latest appearances as a commentator on ‘Sky Sports’.
“He is the energy of the team. He’s the best in the team with the ball and without the ball because he’s the one who always starts the pressure. He has fire,” he said. He made these assessments after the 0-0 draw against Arsenal away from home on Matchday 21 of the Premier League.
The midfielder started and was on the pitch for the entire game. He failed to find the net or assist, but played a key role in almost all of his side’s distribution. He has won his place with Solskjaer at the helm and there seems to be no one capable of taking it away from him.
It should be remembered that he became a Manchester United player in the winter transfer window at the beginning of 2020. After a brilliant spell at Sporting CP, he showed that he has more than enough experience to be one of the best in one of Europe’s top leagues.
